Did you know? ....The European Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (2002/96/EC) was fully implemented by the Scottish Parliament on the 2nd January 2007 to encourage the recycling of electrical and electronic products using the best available recovery and recycling techniques, to treat any hazardous substances and avoid increasing landfill, thus minimising the impact on the environment.
